I was very touched when Amber asked me to come take photos of the annual balloon release they do for her brother. Family and friends gather every year on his birthday to say Happy Birthday and release balloons for him. Schuyler was deployed on his second tour, when he made the ultimate sacrifice defending our country. He was a young vibrant man who had found his place in the military. Our small community came together to show their respect and mourn the loss for this family. Flags lined the streets, the atmosphere of "togetherness" was such a touching experience. This wonderful family has kept Schuyler alive and just saying Thank You isn't enough.
